New arrangement is posted! This one is of Gold Pilot, composed by First Turn Fold. The beginning of the original was used in [S] Act 6 Act 6 Intermission 1, but my arrangement is of the full 5-minute piece.
LOOK IT’S A SONG
BRUH THIS SHIT IS GOLDEN AND THANK GOD THIS IS THE LAST ONE.
Brand new episode of Tropes vs Women is online! Please heed the content warning on this video. It contains some especially triggering scenes of sexual violence.
I found this hard to watch. Even if you removed all of her commentary and just showed the clips from the games, it would be disturbing.
I’ve tried reading some of the “rebuttals” of this video, but even if I wasn’t a crazy leftie liberal feminist whatever… it’s all nonsense. And I think they know it is too, because the most common response to this video is to attack the messenger.
"This nagging ugly bitch just wants something to complain about like all social justice retards. The second you apologize or give them an inch they will simply criticize you more. "
That was the first reblog comment I saw in the notes. Using misogyny and slurs to try and de-legitimatize a video about misogyny is an interesting debate tactic.
It seems people are quite literally trying to kill the messenger. Attack her character. Make her look so bad that it undermines the message of the video.
It isn’t going to work. Something is clearly rotten in the state of gaming. It needs to be addressed. It doesn’t matter if you like her or not… the truth is undeniable and people need to start accepting that.
She isn’t telling people they aren’t allowed to like their video games. She clearly states that at the beginning of all her videos. And what she is suggesting is not going to make games terrible and unfun. All that is desired is for women to be respected in gaming and perhaps a little more representation that isn’t two dimensional. That certainly doesn’t seem like it is worth threatening someone’s life to fight against.

Distressing Video Captures EXACTLY How Cops Treat Black People
I had to reblog this again because it just reduced me to tears.
As most of you know, I am an attorney. And I am an attorney licensed in Minnesota. This is the state where I took an oath last year to uphold state and federal laws and to protect the rights of the citizens.
It PAINS me to see this. To see these unjust cops who I for all intents & purposes, have to stand along side. When they are abusing EVERY SINGLE OUNCE of POWER. Minneapolis/St. Paul have BEEN a war zone. I’m ashamed. I’m embarrassed.
Not all officers are bad. Please don’t let that be the take away. But police brutality is VERY FUCKING REAL.
Watch this. If this doesn’t move you, if this doesn’t make you cry out in agony and want to change the world, I don’t know what will.

‘Am I Next?’: Ferguson’s Protests Through the Eyes of a Teenager
Ferguson Police conveniently forgot to publicly release this part of the footage.
It shows Michael Brown paying for the pack of cigars he supposedly stole.
The officer who murdered Michael did not know he was a ‘suspect of a robbery’, so the tape of him ‘stealing’ the cigars have no relation to the killing.
But this footage is important because it proves that the police are trying to justify Mike’s murder by slandering his character.
